PUPILS in Year 5 at Salisbury’s Leehurst Swan School travelled to Magdalen Farm for a one night residential trip. They took part in orienteering challenges, den building, pig feeding and a camp fire, which included toasting delicious marshmallows.
The second day saw pupils participate in low rope challenges where the focus was very much on team work skills. The finale to the trip was a river investigation where pupils looked at the speed of the flowing river and the habitats that lived in the various section of the river.
