STAFF will wear berets when they dish up French breakfasts at a Salisbury care home on Friday.
Bemerton Lodge is taking part in National Care Home Open Day.
One of 19 Wiltshire care homes run by the Order of St John Care Trust, Bemerton Lodge is embracing an Around the World in 24 Hours theme.
After going French in the morning, the home will boast an American lunch – with staff sporting cowboy hats at noon.
In the afternoon, cream teas will be served to the visiting public before residents enjoy an Italian tea.
The day will also include a kangaroo race, boules, basketball and a sing-along.
Also taking part in the national event, Stratford House care home will be hosting a Zumba class in the morning followed by a coffee afternoon with cupcakes.
Willowcroft will show off its P.A.T. dog followed by a sing-along with live music in the afternoon.
A vintage high tea party with cupcakes and sandwiches for guests.
The aim of the day is to help better connect residents with their local communities.
