CARE homes are opening their doors to the communities they service tomorrow so that people can get more insight into the care they provide.

Wiltshire Care Partnership says that least 27 of its members will be opening their doors to the public on National Care Homes Open Day, including several in Salisbury.

Chief executive officer Lesley Frazer said: “The open day gives us the opportunity to share some good news stories with the public about the care provided in the vast majority of care homes.

“Our members are very keen to involve the community more in their day to day activities and hope people will come along to join in the celebrations and find out about the important work that goes on to ensure a good quality of life for older people living in their local homes.”
