SALISBURY Motorcycle and Light Car Club is holding an open day to meet potential new members.
The club meets regularly to organise group motorcycle rides and events, and raise money for a different charity each year. This year it is fundraising for Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
The club recently donated £1,000 to Paralympic skier Talan Skeels-Piggins, the founder of The Bike Experience, at its monthly club night at Harnham Social Club. The charity provides adapted motorcycles for disabled motorcycles, and advises them on how to continue riding with their disability.
The open day will be held at The Venue (formerly The Hilltop Cafe), in London Road, from 2pm until 6pm on Saturday, July 19. Further information about the club, and application forms, will be available on the day.
