FLOWERS of all varieties have brightened up the gardens at St Mark's Junior School in Salisbury.
The St Mark's in Bloom competition began in February and saw each class plant their own flowerbed and nurture it until the judging took place earlier this month.
Hannah Mansell, Year 6 teacher, said: “We wanted to find a way to brighten up the school gardens and make sure it was child-led so they had the responsibility. They also gained an understanding of how things grow and they were proud of their produce.”
