A SCOUT from Salisbury has achieved his gold award.
Oliver Hopkins, who joined the Scouts at the age of six, took part in community, social and physical activities to achieve the accolade, which is the highest award a Scout can achieve.
He is well known in the Salisbury district for his passion for Scouting and is currently fundraising for a trip to Japan in 2015, to the World Scout Jamboree.
Leader Adrian Lock said: “Oliver takes to everything with gusto and he is a young man who is proud to wear the Scout uniform.”
