SALISBURY charity Alabaré has issued an appeal for soil to help transform one of its service user's gardens after being let down just before work was due to start.

The Christian care and support charity was set to transform the garden of one of its Include service users today.

As part of St Paul's Big Saturday initiative, the charity was set to receive five tonnes of soil today for the work but it has been let down at the last minute.

Alabaré Include is a branch of the charity which provides mental health support and activities to promote personal recovery, choice and social inclusion to people across Wiltshire.

The plants and flowers are ready to be planted but they will die if replacement soil is not found soon.
