A SIXTEEN-year-old boy fulfilled his lifelong ambition when he completed a skydive for charity.
Andrew Huggins has Down’s Syndrome and went to the John McNeill Opportunity Centre in Salisbury before going on to Manor Fields and Exeter House schools.
He decided to raise money for his former nursery and gained £910.50 in sponsorship for his jump at Old Sarum Airfield.
“He has always wanted to do a skydive but we told him he had to wait until he was 16,” said his mother Janette.
“As soon as it was his birthday he started talking about it again.
“He had no sense of fear, he just climbed into the plane and off he went.
“It was a great experience for him.”
