ANYONE interested in being a bus driver can find out how at a Salisbury Reds event today and tomorrow.
The bus operator is looking for new drivers to help staff its new routes and park and ride services in the city following the collapse of Hatts Coaches.
Operations manager Andrew Sherrington said: “We are looking for bus drivers who hold a PCV licence but we are also keen to meet those who may not have experience in this field if they have good customer service skills. We can offer them driver training.
“During the last week, we have extended our services significantly in and around the city, following the announcement that Hatts Coaches ceased trading. And demand among our customers in the region is certainly on the increase.”
Anyone interested can go along to Salisbury Reds’ head office at 6 Castle Street, opposite Tesco. No appointment is necessary.
