DESPITE a soaking from Hurricane Bertha, car enthusiasts at the Wilton Classic Supercar show were treated to a sneak preview of the Aston Martin V12 S Roadster which is due to be unveiled in America next week.
The rain forced several vintage cars to stay locked up in garages but once the sun began to shine visitors enjoyed the spectacle of rally cars going full speed around the specially made 1.2km track.
It is estimated about 10,000 people went to Wilton House for the event which included Richard Noble OBE who was there to show off his Bloodhound car.
The Bloodhound is attempting to break the world land speed record by becoming the first ever 1,000mph car.
The Earl of Pembroke also had the world's fastest production road car on display, his Bugatti Veyron is one only 450 that were ever built.
