WAITROSE is planning a makeover for its store on Churchill Way in Salisbury.
Work starts on Sunday and will be ongoing until the end of October.
The retailer says disruption will be kept to a minimum but there will be a temporary closure of the home department.
The plans also include the opening of a new Waitrose cookery school which will become the first outside of London.
The school gives people the chance to learn new skills and include day or evening classes that cater for all abilities.
Another new feature will be a bar area in the beers, wine and spirits department where customers will be able to sample a glass of wine or share a bottle.
The wine tasting area has been a trial feature at other Waitrose branches which have been offering a corkage fee of £3.25 a glass, or £7.40 a bottle.
