Residents urged to clean chimneys
WILTSHIRE Fire and Rescue Service is urging people to check the state of their chimneys.
Last year the service had to deal with 170 chimney fires.
Group manager Kathy Collis, from the community safety department, said: “Most chimney fires can be prevented by ensuring that the chimney or flue is clear of debris.”
