THE world’s biggest coffee morning is taking place on September 26 and people in Wiltshire are being invited to take part.

People are being asked to hold a coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Last year 154,000 people signed up to a coffee morning, raising a record £20m for the charity and this year organisers are hoping to raise even more to help change the lives of people affected by cancer.

Steve Goodrick, Macmillan’s fundraising manager for Wiltshire, said: “We are very grateful to everyone across Wiltshire who supports Macmillan, we want to make sure no one has to face cancer alone but we can’t do it without the amazing people who fundraise for us.

“Every pound raised by those taking part in events like World’s Biggest Coffee Morning helps us be there for someone with cancer when they need us most; so ask your friends, family or workmates to come for coffee and raise some money to support Macmillan.”
