THE Listening Place is marking ten years with a special annual meeting tonight.
Guest speaker is Revd Dr Margaret Goodall, a chaplaincy adviser to the Methodist Homes Care Group, who focuses on the care of people with dementia.
Everyone is welcome to the talk, entitled ‘How to Communicate Better’, at Salisbury Methodist Church in St Edmunds Church Street, Salisbury, at 6.30 for 7pm, where refreshments will be provided.
The Listening Place is a confidential, free walk-in service for those who require a listening ear.
All the listeners at The Listening Place are trained and experienced at listening without interrupting or advising.
There is no need to make an appointment in advance, nor will you be asked to give any personal information.
