WILTSHIRE Council will make history on Tuesday by broadcasting a full council meeting live on the web for the first time.
From now on all full council meetings will be broadcast live and they hope it will help enhance their transparency and ensure as many people as possible can take part in decision making.
People will be able to view meetings live or at a time and place convenient to them up to six months online after the event.
Wiltshire Council leader, Jane Scott, said: "Making our meetings more accessible to people is very important to us and we are delighted to be able to announce our new webcasting broadcasts during local democracy week, as we think it is an important new channel to help us reach people in a new way."
To view the webcast at 11am on Tuesday go to wiltshire.public-i.tv.
