THE Mayor of Salisbury will be opening the new Dunelm Salisbury Homewares store on Tuesday, November 11 at 9am.

The store will have 20,000 home furnishing products and will secure 65 jobs for local people.

The new Salisbury store totals 30,500 sq ft and has been designed to accommodate Dunelm’s extensive ranges of homeware items.

These include favourite household names such as Dorma, Fogarty, Morphy Richards and Brabantia plus new, exciting designs from Dunelm’s own exclusive collection.

Chief executive Will Adderley said: “We are always excited about the opening of a new store.

“It takes a lot of hard work, investment and commitment getting a new store up and running and we are delighted to welcome Jo Broom to open our doors for the very first time. We are confident Salisbury will play a big part in the continued success of the company and look forward to introducing local shoppers to our diverse homewares offering.”

In addition, the new store will provide a made-to-measure curtains, blinds and accessories service where shoppers can choose from over 4000 fabrics, with expert in-store advisors on hand to help.

The service offers a price guarantee, with customers being promised that if they could find a better deal elsewhere they will refund the difference.

There will also be a dedicated Dorma bedding department, a specialist furniture section selling more than 30 of the 600 available online ranges, a cookshop and dining area and an expert bedding area.

The Salisbury store will be open seven days a week, as will its Pausa coffee shop and the brand new store has free parking and air conditioning.

Dunelm also offers online shopping at dunelm.com with next-day home delivery on orders placed before noon Monday to Thursday. There is also a reserve and collect service where customers can reserve their desired products online by noon and collect from the Salisbury store from 3pm the very same day.
