YOUNG people are designing and building a large scale public sculpture as part of a new project to mark the city’s renovated skate park.
The project, which involves regular workshops at the skate park in Churchill Gardens, is using upcycled skateboard parts as well as bike and scooter parts.
Welding workshops are being delivered on site by Andy Rawling from A&R Metalcraft each Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm, from now until November 12.
The project is called Upcycle and is organised by Salisbury Arts Centre and Salisbury City Council.
