TIGGY Walker knows first-hand what it’s like to have breast cancer and the need for the very best in care.
Having gone through the “hell” of helping nurse her Radio 2 DJ husband Johnnie Walker after his cancer just over a decade ago, she was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of breast cancer last December.
Now, by sharing her experience, she hopes the people of Salisbury and beyond will support Salisbury District Hospital’s bid to establish a dedicated breast cancer unit through the Stars Appeal.
Tiggy is supporting the Salisbury Journal’s campaign for the appeal by talking exclusively to the paper about her battle to regain full health.
