TODAY is the coldest day of 2015 so far in Salisbury, with temperatures dropping below minus six at 6.49 this morning.
But it felt even colder than that.
The apparent temperature – taking wind speed, air temperature and relative humidity into account – almost reached minus nine.
That’s three times colder than Reykjavik in Iceland.
Journal reporter Katy Griffin said: “My car was like an ice cube.”
