St Mary’s Church, Fordingbridge
THE St John Singers will be giving their annual devotional performance of Stainer’s Crucifixion on Good Friday at 7pm in St Mary’s Church, Fordingbridge.
Conducted by John Powell and accompanied by organist David Coram, the choir will be joined by guest soloists Ian Wicks tenor and Richard Hooper Bass, and members of St Mary’s Church choir.
This will be the 26th year the choir has sung this work in different churches around Wiltshire.
Admission is free, and there will be a retiring collection for church funds.
