THE Ship Inn in Burcombe has reopened under new ownership.
The new landlord says the focus is about returning the Ship to a traditional village freehouse pub.
Scott Duncan said: “We are serving great local ales, quality wines and beers, and wonderful food sourced as locally as possible and produced by our kitchen team.
“Our menu consists of a mix of pub classics, great steak and fish dishes, vegetarian, daily chefs specials and homemade desserts.
“We are dedicated to producing healthy, high quality dishes at traditional value."
He added: “The pub has been set out with a comfy lounge area and bar with a roaring open fire and relaxed atmosphere with bar food and snacks available at all times and a lovely dining area seating around 30 serving food.”
The pub was previously run by Neill and Sev Kefford who closed it six months ago.
