BUS operator Salisbury Reds has appointed Alex Chutter as its new operations manager.
Alex joined parent company Go South Coast as a graduate management trainee in 2011, completing a 24 month training programme on secondment to various operators - including Go Ahead London and Go South Coast's 2012 Olympic Games contract.
He acted as commercial manager for Salisbury Reds between 2012 and 2013, before joining neighbouring firm morebus as staff manager across Poole, Bournemouth and Swanage.
Salisbury Reds managing director Andrew Wickham said: “We are delighted that Alex will be overseeing our operations at Salisbury Reds in what is an important year for us.
“Our centenary celebrations are in full flow - and we have made huge investment in our fleet over recent months.
"Alex’s enthusiasm, dedication and professionalism make him the right person to take Salisbury Reds forward into our next chapter - and I look forward to watching his progress over the coming years.”
Alex will also manage operations at sister company Tourist Coaches when he takes up his position this month.
