A TEN-year-old boy fled in fear when he was approached by two strangers in Devizes Road.
The boy escaped unhurt but shaken.
The incident happened near the junction with Highfield Road on November 28 last year, but was only reported to police at the end of last month.
Now police are appealing for witnesses and want to hear from anybody who was in the area at the time and who may have witnessed any suspicious activity involving two men.
One of the men is believed to have been white with blue eyes. The second man was black.
Police would like to speak to anyone who saw a white van in the area at this time.
Police are encouraging parents and guardians to remind their children about the important ‘Stranger Danger’ advice. For further information on this, please visit www.wiltshire.police.uk
