A BUS driver was verbally and physical assaulted by a male passenger.
The alleged assault took place at about 11.30pm on Sunday, July 21.
The man was traveling on a Salisbury Reds Activ8 bus route from Andover to Salisbury.
It is believed he missed his stop and was due to get off at Ludgershall but fell asleep. When he was woken up at Salisbury bus station police say he got abusive with the driver.
It's believed he is not local and is working in Amesbury and staying in Ludgershall.
The driver was unhurt but left very shaken by the incident.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man they are looking to speak to in connection with the asssault.
PC Steve Drage said: "If you recognise this man please contact me on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
