Cllr Ian West who saddled up to raise money for two day centres
TILL and Wylye Valley councillor Ian West completed a 25-mile sponsored mountain bike ride in aid of two day centres.
The ride took him through the nine villages he represents on Wiltshire Council, starting at Tilshead and finishing at Winterbourne Stoke.
Cllr West raised £1,100 for the Till Valley and Edgars Close day centres in Shrewton and Steeple Langford.
The 25-miles was completed in 2 hours and 30minutes. Cllr West was accompanied by three friends on the ride.
Cllr West said: "I am delighted to be able to do something to help these day centres in the great work they do for our area and am immensely grateful to the people who so generously supported me in raising this fantastic amount of money."
