Steam train rides take top spot in city for 'most popular experience'
STEAM train rides have taken the top spot in Salisbury as the most popular experience people are searching for when planning a special day out.
The treat compares to bungee jumping in Glasgow, tank driving in Cardiff, a cut and blow dry in Exeter, self defence in Bournemouth and beer in Norwich.
The statistics have come from an activity and adventure day out company website, Into the Blue, which is comparing the number one experience days across the country.
Other popular activities in Salisbury are flying lessons, West End shows and falconry.
The report is based on around 500,000 unique searches between January 2012 and September 2015.
