WINDOWS were smashed in two Durrington houses last week.
The damage happened at around 9.30pm on Monday, January 25 when large stones were thrown through the windows, one upstairs and one downstairs, of houses in Church Street.
PC Will Todd said: "The residents in both of these houses were home at the time and could have been seriously hurt.
"Fortunately nobody was injured, but they have been left distressed by what happened.
"We would welcome any information about who is behind these senseless acts."
Witnesses should call PC Todd by phoning 101 or emailing amesburynpt@wiltshire.pnn.police.uk.
