Thieves raid corner shop in bid to steal cigarettes
BURGLARS raided a corner shop and tried to steal cigarettes this morning.
Police were called at 5.16am to an alarm sounding at the One Stop store in Barrington Road, Salisbury.
When officers arrived they found a front window had been removed and thieves had tried to steal cigarettes.
It is not yet clear exactly what was stolen.
Investigations are ongoing and anyone who witnessed anything is asked to contact Wiltshire Police on 101. Alternatively they can phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
