A CAR smashed into a road sign at the roundabout on the A36 in Wilton tonight.
Police and paramedics were called at around 10.20 this evening.
The car was left with a mangled front-end and a crumpled bonnet.
Police officers temporarily blocked the westbound exit lane of the roundabout as they awaited recovery.
Officers would not say whether the driver was seriously hurt, but an ambulance was on the scene.
