Man treated for smoke inhalation after barn fire
FIREFIGHTERS from Amesbury and Wilton were mobilised to a barn fire at Gore Cross in West Lavington.
Straw inside a barn was on fire at a farm on Tilshead Road at about 11.40am this morning (Friday).
Three fire engines attended from Amesbury, Westbury and Devizes along with a water carrier from Wilton. Hose reel jets were used to extinguish the fire.
A man, believed to be in his 30s, was treated for minor smoke inhalation by paramedics and taken to Salisbury District Hospital.
