FOR many attending the Chalke Valley History Festival one of the highlights is the series of air displays, which take place at intervals over the weekend.
Planes already confirmed for this summer include the only Avro Lancaster flying in the UK, a Fairey Swordfish, an Auster, a Curtiss P-40 Kittyhawk, a Hawker Hurricane, a Supermarine Spitfire XIX, a Supermarine Spitfire IX, a Vought F4U Corsair and a Yakovlev Yak-3.
The festival takes place in Ebbesbourne Wake and runs from June 27 to July 3.
The full literary programme of over 140 speakers can be found online at cvhf.org.uk
