FIREFIGHTERS tackled a house fire in Amesbury last night (Wednesday).
The fire at Avon Buildings involved a garden fence which was adjacent to the Aldi car park. The fire also spread to the loft area of the property.
Two crews from Amesbury and Salisbury along with an aerial ladder platform and fire crew from St Mary's in Hampshire attended the incident, which was reported at about 10.20pm.
Hose reel jets were used to extinguish the fire and a thermal imaging camera was used.
Fire crews were at the scene until about 12.25am.
