A MAN died in a car crash near Tidworth last night.
Police were called shortly before 6pm to a two-vehicle collision involving a Peugeot 206 and a Ford Kuga on Perham Down Road, Great Shoddesden, near Tidworth.
A 22-year-old man from Tidworth who was driving the Peugeot 206, died at the scene.
A 32-year-old man from Wallingford, Oxfordshire, the driver of the Ford Kuga, was uninjured.
The road was closed in both directions last night as part of a police investigation and to allow recovery of the vehicles.
Hampshire Police is appealing for witnesses to the collision which happened near the Hampshire/Wiltshire border.
