FUNDRAISERS turned out in force for the 2017 Midnight Walk in aid of Salisbury Hospice Charity.
The walk, which is in its ninth year, took place on Saturday from Five Rivers Health and Wellbeing Centre.
Participants were able to chose from two distances — six miles and 10 miles.
"It was perfect," she said. "Next year is our tenth year and we are going to do a special theme. It will be bigger and better next year."
Numbers were slightly up on last year's Midnight Walk with about 430 taking part on Saturday.
Sarah thanked everyone that took part in the walk and supported the event, including businesses who donated food.
The total raised from the 2017 Midnight Walk is still being finalised but the charity hope to reach its fundraising target of £55,000.
All the money raised goes towards the services that the charity provides, which include palliative care, its in-patient unit, day centre, community nurses, hospice at home services and bereavement services.
Salisbury Hospice Charity needs to raise £1.5 million every year to be able to provide these services.
