A WOMAN was attacked and her dog was stolen in a Salisbury park.
An argument broke out between the man and woman, who knew each other, in Queen Elizabeth Gardens at about 12.30pm on Monday, July 17.
Police say the man then punched the woman in the face and took the animal, which appears to be a bulldog.
The victim suffered minor swelling.
PC Matthew Cable said: "We area appealing for witnesses - if anyone heard or saw this incident or anything suspicious in this busy area of the city, around midday, please come forward.
"Also if you recognise the dog in the picture - perhaps you saw it in this area - please contact me."
Call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
