A MAN was attacked at a nightclub in Salisbury.

The incident happened at the Music Box in Catherine Street between 2.15am and 2.30am on Saturday, August 26, but police have only just released the details.

Two unknown males assaulted the man, who is in his 20s, and tried to strangle him and punched him - causing him to have a swollen eye.

Police say descriptions are not clear but one of the suspects is described as wearing a dark top and the other male a white top.
