AN INSIGHT into the development of health services in and around Salisbury over the last 250 years is available through a new website.
The Salisbury District Hospital ArtCare team launched a new digital archive after receiving a £40,000 grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
The website spans from the 1760s to the present day, including photographs from the Salisbury General Infirmary and other sites.
As well as the website, people can find permanent displays in the main corridors and lifts at Salisbury District Hospital.
Volunteers spent more than 1,000 hours recording and handling 11,000 photographs to digitise the collection, previously physically stored in a number of locations.
