A 22-YEAR-OLD man from Tidworth has been arrested on suspicion of drug offences and money laundering.
Officers spotted a man acting suspiciously in the bus shelter near Melksham House in Tidworth shortly before midnight on April 21.
When officers approached the man, he was evasive and made off from the scene. He was located a short time later in undergrowth nearby. He was arrested on suspicion of possession and being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
A search was then carried out at an address associated with the man and a number wraps of what was believed to be cannabis were found, along with two mobile phones, about £900 in cash, a knife and a set of scales.
He was also arrested on suspicion of money laundering.
Police say enquiries are continuing and the man has since been released under investigation.
