THE Hampshire and Wiltshire Cardiomyopathy Support Group will be holding its next meeting at the Memorial Hall, Downton, on April 24 at 2pm.
Cardiomyopathy is a heart condition that affects one in 500 people and is the number one cause of sudden death in the UK.
The speaker will be Jenny Roddis – senior research officer at Bournemouth University – who will give a talk on human genetics and the problems with this heart condition.
The meeting is open to patients and their families. Refreshments will be served after the meeting.
