BUSINESS owners are being invited to a drop-in event being run to provide guidance on various pieces of legislation.
Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Service is working with Wiltshire Council and Swindon Borough Council to run a series of drop-in events for local businesses during February and March and one will be held at Salisbury’s City Hall on March 20.
The aim of the sessions is to provide a free ‘one stop shop’ for businesses to gather information and guidance on how to comply with the various pieces of legislation that apply to them.
All businesses are welcome to attend; however, the various agencies are especially keen to talk to members of the licensed trade such as pub, restaurant and takeaway owners.
Although the events are aimed primarily at businesses, members of the public are also welcome to attend for free home fire safety, general food hygiene and safety advice.
