WINTER is tough for those living on the streets and homelessness charity Alabaré is asking people to take a glimpse into their lives while raising money to help them.
The charity is holding its annual sleep out events on March 2 at The Cloisters at Salisbury Cathedral and St Thomas’s Church.
Another event in aid of the charity will be a military experience dinner and dance to help raise funds towards its homes for veterans project.
Tickets to the black-tie event, which includes a three-course dinner, half a bottle of wine, entertainment and a champagne reception are £75 and are available from Heather Hitchins on 01722 322 929 or h.hitchins@alabare.co.uk.
For more information on the sleepout visit alabare.co.uk.

In this day and age people should not be going around with the begging bowl to provide something that should be a right for everyone
At least we do not have the situation they have in the bastion of free enterprise, the USA, where they have tented cities. This where people who have been thrown out of their homes because they have defaulted on their payments because they were made redundant or had large medical bills have to live.
Victims of policies that are fully supported by many modern day Conservatives.
