CHEF Pravin Nayar from the Beckford Arms in Tisbury, who has just been named as one of the country’s top gastro-pub chefs.
Mr Nayar was praised in a poll conducted by the Publican’s Morning Advertiser.
And the pub itself made it to 27th in the UK’s top 50 gastropubs list, despite only re-opening five months ago following a devastating fire.
Co-owner Dan Brod said “I am delighted for Pravin and his brigade that he is getting deserved recognition amonghis peers, who vote on the awards. I am also really pleased for all our staff, as to get on this list after being open for just five months is great.
“Obviously next year we would like to do better but much more important to us is simply serving our customers well every day.”
