Soldier killed in Afghanistan

A SOLDIER killed in Afghanistan today is believed to have been with Bulford-based 1st Battalion the Royal Anglian Regiment.
The Ministry of Defence has said he was part of an operation to disrupt insurgent activity in Helmand Province when he was killed.
Next of kin have been informed.
