Breastfeeding awareness event in park

BREASTFEEDING mums are being invited to a special picnic in Elizabeth Gardens on Wednesday.

The event is part of National Breastfeeding Awareness Week and will give mums the chance to meet others and talk to peer supporters who can offer breastfeeding advice.

Nicola Dunford, breastfeeding counsellor, will also be on hand to talk to mums.

“I am delighted to be supporting this initiative”, she said.

“It’s a great opportunity for me to meet the peer supporters in the local area and great to see and chat to mums celebrating breastfeeding in and around Salisbury.”

The picnic will take place between noon and 2pm.
