TWO boys aged three and 11 have been found dead in a flat in Tidworth.

Police and paramedics were called to Auchinleck House in Sidbury Heights at 1.20pm after the landlady of the property found the body of the 36-year-old man, believed to have been the children’s father.

She told officers there were two children who had been staying there and paramedics discovered the youngsters’ bodies in another room at the flat.

A police spokesman said the children lived with their mother in Andover.

Post mortem examinations are due to take place today and tomorrow and the Wiltshire Coroner has been informed.

Forensic examinations of the scene are ongoing and police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.

Supt Matt Pullen of Wilitshire Police said: “This tragic incident involving the deaths of a man and two young children at a flat in Tidworth has caused understandable shock in the local community.
