Former soldier publishes book on Fighting Wesses Wyverns
A FORMER soldier has published a book recounting the experiences he and his comrades faced during the Second World War.
In Fighting Wessex Wyverns, 88-year-old Patrick Delaforce, tells the story of the Wiltshire-based battalion Wiltshire and its wartime efforts, particularly in Normany.
Mr Delaforce, who joined up in 1942 and spent five years in the army, has published more than 40 books in a variety of genres.
Fighting Wessex Wyverns is published by Sutton Publishing Ltd and is available from bookshops and online.
