Planning inspector turns down Durrington homes plan

A PLANNING inspector has ruled that a property in Larkhill Road, Durrington, cannot be demolished then replaced by two houses.

Neil Carr applied to Wiltshire Council for planning permission to demolish a three bedroom bungalow and replace it with two three-bedroom semi-detached houses in Larkhill Road, Durrington.

Inspector Edward Grace dismissed the appeal on the grounds there wouldn’t be enough parking or adequate provision of public open space and recreational facilities for additional residents.
