HUNDREDS of people had fun in the sun at Tisbury Carnival.
Young and old alike dressed up to take part in the procession, with the Olympics providing inspiration for many.
Mini athletes mingled with clowns, zoo animals, garden gnomes and fairies. Carnival committee chairman Lynne Mayell said: “We had a lovely day, it was brilliant weather.
“There was a smaller number of entrants for the procession than in previous years but the standard was fantastic and we had people of all ages taking part, including one of our oldest residents who dressed up as Usain Bolt, decorating her mobility scooter with his lightning strike pose on both sides.”
