NEXT Saturday is National Badger Day and people can find out more about the animals on a guided walk through the woodland at Harnham Slope.
Starting at 10am on October 6 at the steps near Grasmere Close, the walk finishes at noon. Tickets costs £2 for adults and £1 for children. Contact countryside@wiltshire.gov.uk or 01225 718647 for more information.
There will also be a planting day at the slope on October 27 from 2pm.
Organised by the Friends of Harnham Slope, the event will allow people to enjoy a social occasion and a complimentary lunch while also helping to plant wood anemones, wild garlic and primroses.
