In a family statement Pippa and Tara’s parents Patrick and Emma and brother Oscar said: “We are so grateful for the amazing support, generosity and kindness everyone has shown to us.
“The service today was a lovely tribute to our beautiful daughters and Oscar’s sisters Tara and Pippa, and we would like to thank so many friends who helped with it.
“So much love has been shown to use since the girls died, the number of letters has been extraordinary.
“We hope they will be remembered for how they lived life – vibrant, loving, dynamic, fun-loving girls who were the best of friends, each others’ soul mates.
“They lived life to the full in their short time.
“They brightened so many lives and made the world a better place to be.
“We will always be so proud of them.”
